AgentSteve never fails to hookup with rare Valley brews. 22oz bottle tried at Woodshop Quad. Amber. Sweetish. Good. Easy to drink. Very good.

Orange color, halo of suds. Sweet and somewhat solventy nose but in a generic nature. Sweet, malty and somewhat yeasty flavors. Slightly hot but manageable with some bitterness too. This was flavorful and alive with a touch of bitterness to make it stand apart.

(10/29/08) Bottle at the brewery in Stockton (thanks a lot Steve and Mike!). Hazy amber color. Aroma of dark fruits, some malt and sugar notes. Sweet malty flavor with caramel, cookie hints, fruits and alcohol. Medium to full-bodied.

EDA brought this one over about 1 year and a half ago to a tasting at my house. Just found the crumpled paper behind my computer. Pours brown with no head to speak of. Smells of caramel and strong malty hints. Tastes sweet and full bodied with some dark fruity hints. Earthy finish.

Pours a beautiful clear brown copper pour with no head. Nose is dark fruits and caramel, with a hefty dose of sugars. The flavor is big fruit and brown sugar. Plums and raisins also stand out. Quite smooth on the palate.

bottle...thanks to krausenjockey... poured a transparent reddish brown with a thin off-white head....aromas of sweet dark fruit and caramel.....flavors dominated by dark fruits but was a little overly sweet and sugary which sticks around for a little too long. just a little too cloyingly sweet for me to enjoy more.
