The flavor is rather sour on this one. Some lemons, brown sugar, spices, and candy sugars showing up. Overall this was a nice lighter belgian style. CaptainCougar (5530), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 15, 2007 Pours a transparent copper orange with a well-lacing wispy off-white head. Aroma of lightly sweet and tart Belgian malt with a touch of earthy hops and clove. Body starts a little thinner with an effervescent carbonation and some mild biscuity pale malty sweetness toward a doughy finish. An ok Belgian ale. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 2, 2007 Bottle from beerguy101 tasted at Pizza port Stong Ale Festival. Mixed bubble head. A bit sour. Light amber color. I rated this lower than others, in sort of a blind tasting sort of way. Great. I originally rated this as Valley Brew Decadence 6, and my rating was 3.4, so I was disappointed that I didn’t enjoy the 4.05 Grand Cru as much as other people. Then WeeHeavy let me know i tried the Decadence 6. It makes more sense. WeeHeavySD (3041), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

The aroma was of light fruits (grapes) and a light grassy scent. The taste is very light overall with hints of yeast, grasses, faint malts and some belgian spices. This was a unique brew! smelled like oranges and cotton candy a bit! Taste was sweet bread with just a hint of hops and tartness. Of the two I tried, I liked the 10 a tad better!
