Pours a transparent copper orange with a well-lacing wispy off-white head. Aroma of lightly sweet and tart Belgian malt with a touch of earthy hops and clove. Body starts a little thinner with an effervescent carbonation and some mild biscuity pale malty sweetness toward a doughy finish. An ok Belgian ale.

Bottle... RBSG 07… Cloudy amber ale with a small, wispy, well-tanned head. Breadsy, phenolic nose with lots of coriander, Bazooka bubblegum, orange peel and a whisper of grapefruit. The flavor is subtle, but all over the place… spicy coriander, light grainy sweetness and mild bitterness with a suggestion of acidity. Light to medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes spicy, fruity-sweet and then dry. Thanks goes out to stoutlover72 for providing this beer to share with the RBSG 07 Crew in Minneapolis!

Thanks to Beerguy101. Poured a lightly hazed copper with a large off-white head. The aroma was lightly spiced with some sweet malt and Belgian yeast esters. The malt on the flavor was light

Sampled at the RBSG ’07 Grand Tasting room. Sample brought in by Hopscotch. Pours a hazy brownish-amber brew with a quick dissolving beige head. Aroma of bread dough, apricots, bubblegum and some coriander. Taste is medium bodied, light bitterness, with some acidic aftertaste. Finish is light vegetable and some sweet orange zest. A different Belgian style beer.

This Belgian Ale pours a deep orange gold color from a hand bottle 22oz bottle. Thanks Steve. Medium sized white foamy head, with good retention and nice lacing, Aroma is fruity, sweet and yeasty. There is also a touch of hops as well. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral. It still has that nice spiciness and yeastiness that one would expect from a Belgian style ale, but there is a good dose of hoppiness. This beer has been in the bottle for a year or so, and it has a very nice crisp and dry finish. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and spicy.
