Pours a light, hazy grapefruit color; thin white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Toasty yeast and doughiness and citrus in the aroma; crisp and lightly acidic; very nice. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: chewy, crisp apples, doughiness, and bready yeast (no pepper to speak of); like an exceedingly drinkable apple-tinged Belgian ale; 8% at this point? Medium finish: breadiness, crisp apples, and toast; nicely dry. AgentSteve (1376), SF Bay Area, California, USA

The flavor is the same, with an added influence that is like rose petals, rounding it out and causing it to flow like lace over the tongue. Subtle bitter finish. fidel (973), Livermore, California, USA

This was a unique brew! smelled like oranges and cotton candy a bit! Taste was sweet bread with just a hint of hops and tartness. Of the two I tried, I liked the 10 a tad better! ratman197 (3235), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Nice tan lacing throughout. Aroma garnered lots of toasted malts, bready yeast, a little citrus and soily, earthy hops. Flavor is bready and yeasty, with fruity hop bitterness and sweet toasted malt notes. More hop assertive than many belgian ales I have tasted. Alcohol well controlled and hardly noticed. Easy to drink, interesting brew. Nice stuff. Thanks again, Steve!
