22oz bomber, courtesy of aspidites. Thanks, Mike! Pours a clear, medium amber-brown color; light tan head with fine-bubbled lacing. Dense dried fruit (raspberries, assorted red fruits) and toffee in the aroma; warming phenols and creamy vanilla notes; very engaging. Medium-to-full, slightly oily mouthfeel: plenty of dried red / dark fruits: chewy caramel and nougat maltiness, but with an ever-present dried fruit viscosity that lasts forever, almost like an angelic fruit rollup; a dense, chewy, warming, and wonderful beer. Lengthy, belgian sugar and dried fruit finish.

Cloudy reddish-brown. Aroma shows plums, dates, alcohol and light toffee. Yeasty, malty character, kind of phenolic with strong date overtones. Good example.

Slightly sour undertone to the sweet malty aroma with some notes of alcohol. Hazy brown body is topped by a low but lasting fine bubbled head that leaves some sudsy lace. Decent bitterness offsets the sweet brown sugar and malty flavour. Some sour fruit and alcohol are notable. Medium body with assertive, effervescent carbonation that uplifts the mouthfeel. Bottle sampled with BeerPrince, CapFlu and Oakes.

This abbey dubbel pours a light brown color form a 22oz hand bottle from the brewery. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is brown sugar and dark fruit. A medium bodied dubbel. Malts are fruity and sweet, brown sugar and molasses. Hops are slightly bitter and spicy. Lots of sweetness, balance by the yeasts. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

22. Thanks, Aspidites! Big nose--mix of must, faint horse blanket. Deep hazy dark amber. Light fizzy-looking tan head. Big attack of caramel and toffee and lots of pleasing light funky tang. Delicious. Light spicy peppery notes on the finish.

Thanks to beerguy101 for bringing this to the noogfest. This pours a cloudy amber color, with a tangy flavor that has notes of cider
