Dark fruit, plum, oak, bread, funky leather, brown sugar, a little bit of buttery flavor, vinegar, and berries. Complex, I don’t think I could drink a lot of this though. padrefan98 (788), (San Diego) Santee, California, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Sampled at the 2009 Stone Sour Festival. Valley brew wins my vote for best brewery for the day. I was excited to try this one as the 2007 last year was outstanding. It seems its a different style which appears to be on purpose. I always like Cabernet Sauvignon barrel aged beers. This was no exception. Outstanding fruit and sour flavors. Exceptional brew! AgentSteve (1378), SF Bay Area, California, USA
