Bottle 65 cl. Pours a cloudy - almost muddy - orangey brown with a small off-white head. Extremely delicious aroma of overipe fruit and wood. Medium body, caramel, intense fruit accents - dried fruit and overripe fruit. Lots of wood and a tart but not that sour finish. Really yummy. 100709

(22oz bottle, courtesy of KrausenJockey at RBSG 2009 beer dinner) Pours a cloudy reddish-brown body with a few spare white bubbles around the rim. Aroma of dates, raisins, brown sugar, vinous, roasted malt, anise, oak, leather, and herbs. Flavor of sourness up front with yeast, vinous, raisins, plums, wheat, and some toffee with a dry finish. Superb!

Sampled during RBSG 7/10/2009 at the beer dinner. This BSA/sour (?) pours a medium orange gold color from the bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is tart fruit, tropical and funky. Medium bodied. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy. Bretty, funky and tart, yet balanced with hints of pineapple, pomegranate and ... Nice balance. Good carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Bottle. What a nice brew! Pours a copper gold body with an off white head. Sour grape and cherry notes, funky plum and a vinous body. Chewy toffee with a funky brett character and a tart lush body. This was fantastic!

Tap @ Stone Sour Fest Today. People had mixed feelings about this, I waited till I knew things were good with the lines and had it and enjoyed it quite a lot. Pours brown with a tan head. Nose is very tart, and sweet, with vinious qualities. Taste is sweet, tart, funky and WOW. Good work Steve and VB with another successful crazy beer.

On tap at Stone Sourfest. Rating number 2200 for me! Pours with a large tan head over a brown body. Great lace. Aroma of dark cherry, barrel, red wine, caramel, lactose and plum. Taste caramel, toffee, wine, light herbs de provence, vinegar, berries, and dates. Medium carbonation silk mouthfeel. Excellent!
