| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 30, 2009 Bottle 65 cl. Pours a cloudy - almost muddy - orangey brown with a small off-white head. Extremely delicious aroma of overipe fruit and wood. Medium body, caramel, intense fruit accents - dried fruit and overripe fruit. Lots of wood and a tart but not that sour finish. Really yummy. 100709 yobdoog (1504), Woodridge NY, New York, USA

The flavor opens up with some dark fruit/ raisiny notes and tangy cherry, light tobacco, mod caramel sweetness. Dry finish, sourness @ a 4-5. Medium-full body with light prickly carbonation. | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Sampled at the 2009 Stone Sour Festival. Valley brew wins my vote for best brewery for the day. I was excited to try this one as the 2007 last year was outstanding. It seems its a different style which appears to be on purpose. I always like Cabernet Sauvignon barrel aged beers. This was no exception. Outstanding fruit and sour flavors. Exceptional brew! BMan1113VR (2940), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
