| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 10, 2008 Big nose of funk, cherries, oak, sourdough and berries. Big and complex mouthfeel with huge up front acidity and balanced by wonderful cherry notes that drop off at mid-palate exactly where the pomegranate picks up and comes to a crescendo at the end. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA

Murky red-brown with slight beige head. Aroma was funky strawberry, a little dry, a smell that can only be described as philidelphia cream cheese, red fruit, very fresh. Pucker, cheese flavor with dirty sweet, tart/sour, cherry. Medium, tart body. Very interesting, enjoying it. Thanks kan! holdenn (1445), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 29, 2008 22oz bottle thanks to kan for sharing this rare beer. Pours a hazed red-orange with a soapy white head. Tart and funky nose. Sour cherries, dough, cheese, and an odd creamy yeast .. seriously strange. Not bad but strange. Its not til Kan said that I was sure. Cream cheese, cherry cream cheese. Sweet, earthy wood, cheese, cherries, creamy yet sour flavors. That creamy yeast and cheese was a completely odd combination, but still good. The only thing I have to know is, does this metra serve bagels?
