Sweet with grainy malt flavour and lots of grapefruity hops plus some salt on top of that. Striking resiny bitterness. A simple, straightforward easy drinking beer, but with loads of bitterness. oh6gdx (9047), Vasa, Finland

Flavour is quite grassy and hoppy. Long mouthdrying feeling. Too dry and bitter for me. One of the best labels around .) kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 26, 2006 Bright golden-amber colour. Peachy hop nose with some malt to back it up. Moderate bitterness, chewy caramel malts. Much better than expected, and if anything the hops might be a bit harsh in the finish. TBone (6844), Pori, Finland

Light amber color, small white head. Fresh hoppy aroma - flowery, almost like "cat piss" :) Honeyish flowery hoppy - very fresh good A/IPA. Bonus points for nice label! Rastacouere (5564), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 26, 2006 Hazy golden pour with a white cover. Typical Chinook, Columbus strong west coast hoppiness procure piney, woody and minty aromatics. The hops are superbly disposed here, very personnal and expressive. Strong piney, slightly salty lupulin kick in mouth, earthy and bitter at length in the finish. The malt only serves as a supporting device while the floral galore keeps on. Light-medium bodied, soft carbonation. Pleasant aromatic ale. CaptainCougar (5523), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Semi-sweet lightly resinous fresh piny hoppy aroma. Body starts with a touch of pale malty sweetness turning more bitter and slighty peppery with nice Saaz hoppy character toward a crisp, dry bitter finish. A refreshing and drinkable brew. -A creamy sheet of foam covers the amber gold.
-An intense and intriguing wooden and sandy hop nose is bulked up by some apricot fruitiness.
-Wooden and orangey hops gently blend with doughy, toasted maltiness.
-Although the body is well-fed, it remains eminently drinkable.
What if you dig deeper?
-Some citrusy fruitiness appears within the aroma.
-The wooden hoppiness lingers, bringing along its toasty malts for most of the ride.
-Bread crumbs are formed by the inventive hop and malt union.
-A very flavorful and unique American Pale Ale, sporting one of the ugliest (and funniest) labels ever.
