On-tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy amber/red with a frothy offwhite head, decent retention, spider web lace. Smells big and malty sweet with some red fruit aroma as well. Tastes malty and red fruity sweet with a sweet hoppy finish, slightly bitter. Medium body, good carbonation.

RBSG ’08: Growler pour. Poured a clear red color with an off-white head. Awesome big fresh piny hop aroma that covers most of the malt. The piny hop flavor also beats out the malt here. Some mild toffee but otherwise hops.

Sample from aspidites at RBSG (dry hopped); Nose of floral hops and ivy, and caramel; clear light brown with a small beige head; flavor has hop bitterness, a little fruitiness, and a sweet note; finishes lightly bitter.

sampler @ brewery - clear and dark amber; some caramel and dank fruit in the aromas; hops are muted in both aromas and flavors; very dry finish and kind of blah overall

Orange amber with a lasting head. Faint aroma of toffee. Flavors of toffee, caramel, with nice moderate fruity hop bitterness in the finish. Notes say smooth and clean.
