Sep 20, 2008 On tap at Stone. Cloudy brown with no head. Deep earthy aroma and taste with nome spicy notes.

Sep 15, 2008 On Tap @ Stone today. Pours orange with a tan head. Nose is indistinct and slightly sweet. Taste was great, sweet with big raisin character.and a full bodied feel with a bite.

Sep 15, 2008 Sample at Stone Brewing; i don’t really remember other than what alexanderj wrote down. I thought it was sugary but roasted; as well as being grassy and yeasty.

Sep 8, 2008 Sample at Stone Brewing; caramel and red in color. Fruity and caramel aroma with some cocoa. Flavor was like that of a solid barleywine; caramel and fruit predominantly. A bit of hopping. Golubj liked it a bit more than me giving it a 3.7; he thought it was sugary but roasted; as well as being grassy and yeasty.

Sep 8, 2008 On tap at Stone World Bistro. Poured a cloudy dark brown color. Aroma was big malt, brown sugar and caramel. Flavor was much the same, kind of straightforward and one dimensional. Some dark fruit and raisin in there as well.
