Commercial Description:
Überhoppy Imperial IPA: Hops, hops glorious hops! There is no mistaking what this beer is; soft and delicate it is not. Überhoppy is meant to completely overwhelm you with resinous, floral, citrus and herbal hops barely balanced by a huge amount of malt that keeps the Lupulin onslaught from resulting in complete palate destruction. If you do not like hops, Überhoppy is NOT the beer for you, do us all a favor and either give this beer to someone with the intestinal fortitude to appreciate it or put it down and walk away. Überhoppy is brewed with 10 different hop varieties and a complete and utter disregard for common logic or sanity. Please consume this beer as soon as possible to ensure maximum hop freshness. Approximately 9.5% ABV.

Unbelievably hoppy. Not that I was expecting a pale lager but this still exceeded the amount of hops I was expecting. Sticky, completely out of balance in an amazing way. Not that malty / minimally double IPA in the malt make up, then again it is 9.5%, I guess it is just that you can’t taste the malt under all the hops. Like hop juice, wait that is a different beer. If you want hops more than beer this is perfect for you.

Sampled at Darkness Day. Pours a thick orange gold, no head. Aroma is earthy and pine hops with caramel malts and alcohol. Flavor is bitter and palate is dry and a little metallic. Overall its decent, would like to try fresh tho.

22 oz botle of a great trade, thanks trading buddy. Poured a deep dark shade of orange with a nice clear body that highlighted a bight white head that left some serious nice lacing.Flavor of citrus, toffee, caramel, toast, syrup and lots of syrupy hops on top pf a sweet body. Good stuff.

Bomber from stfun.... Poured into a snifter, nice dark hazy orange color. Small head that faded quickly. Nice piney and citrus aroma. Taste is fruity hops with a mild amount of bitterness... Well balanced. Easy to drink. I was expecting more of a hop bomb... Texture was average, could use a little more carbonation. Overall, a nice DIPA to sip on and watch the phillies win game 1 in the WS. Thanks josh!

Pours a clear golden orange. Nose is bright and clean with pine, grapefruit, and hints of vanilla. Taste starts with a big harsh hop bitterness, lots of pine, nice earthy flavors, hints of vanilla, a little bit of grapefruit. Great beer, but i think it raped my palate.

(Bottle, thanks scrizzz!) Pours hazy amber with a small off-white head. The aroma is medium to heavily green-ish hoppy with fantastic fruit overtones of passion fruit, papaya, strawberries, star fruit, lychee, black currant, mango, pineapples, peach and juicy oranges/pink grapefruit. There are also some more “heavy” hop notes of fresh herbs, pine, earth, resin and roses. Easy going, toasted malt profile. A whisper of yellow apples, watermelon and ripe pears. Very clean nose - no yeast or disturbing acid notes. One of the most complex hop aromas I have ever smelled. The flavour is light sweet, medium to heavily bitter and light acidic. Very clean, citric juicy, piny, earthy, light salty and exotic fruity. Perfect toasted, light caramelly malt backbone. The mouthfeel is clean and soft at first before the hop acid tones kicks in. Near medium carbonation. Lingering afterbitterness. More resinous and earthy in the finish but there are still room for tropical fruits. Light alcohol warmth. Medium bodied. Near perfect, I love!
