Commercial Description:
Überhoppy Imperial IPA: Hops, hops glorious hops! There is no mistaking what this beer is; soft and delicate it is not. Überhoppy is meant to completely overwhelm you with resinous, floral, citrus and herbal hops barely balanced by a huge amount of malt that keeps the Lupulin onslaught from resulting in complete palate destruction. If you do not like hops, Überhoppy is NOT the beer for you, do us all a favor and either give this beer to someone with the intestinal fortitude to appreciate it or put it down and walk away. Überhoppy is brewed with 10 different hop varieties and a complete and utter disregard for common logic or sanity. Please consume this beer as soon as possible to ensure maximum hop freshness. Approximately 9.5% ABV.

Thanks JCB for sharing. Pours a pale cloudy amber with a thin frothy white head. Oh this looks inviting. Nose is super pungent, very citrusy and fruity, mango, grapefruit rind, and all manner of hop character. Flavor is also bursting with lupulin goodness. Sweet fruity hop profile, citrus rind, mango, great malt balance. Nice palate with a residual medium bitterness. Great

Clear golden orange with a with off white head. Earthy hoppy and grapefruit aroma. Tastes of grass, pine, grapefruit, caramel, and pine. Bright palate. It’s missing that right mix of balance and character that makes other really big really hoppy IPAs work.

Thanks to Dad for this bomber! Amber with a nice white head. Aroma is very hoppy apricot, fresh pine, wet hops, light alcohol. Taste is light alcohol, dried fruit, nice hoppy bite meshed with the maltiness, hemp seed.

( 22oz bomber thanks to Bman1113vr) Pours a pale yellow with no head. Nose is grapefruit. Taste is pretty bitter, nice oily body and only lightly sweet. Not sure on the hype surrounding this one. Didn’t feel it is as well balanced as other top examples in the style.

This one poured a dark amber color with an off white head. Aroma was fresh cut hops, really reminiscent of the 3F hop profile, but with a little less citrus and more pine. Flavor was no disappointment either. Tremendous flavors of herbs and citrus, very vibrant but not mouth puckering bitterness, very well balanced for sure.
