Commercial Description:
Überhoppy Imperial IPA: Hops, hops glorious hops! There is no mistaking what this beer is; soft and delicate it is not. Überhoppy is meant to completely overwhelm you with resinous, floral, citrus and herbal hops barely balanced by a huge amount of malt that keeps the Lupulin onslaught from resulting in complete palate destruction. If you do not like hops, Überhoppy is NOT the beer for you, do us all a favor and either give this beer to someone with the intestinal fortitude to appreciate it or put it down and walk away. Überhoppy is brewed with 10 different hop varieties and a complete and utter disregard for common logic or sanity. Please consume this beer as soon as possible to ensure maximum hop freshness. Approximately 9.5% ABV.

Bottle provided by Shawn, many thanks!

Nice golden coppery hue with an okay frothy head and spotty lace. The aroma is resiny and herbal hops, pepper and clove, grapefruit and mango with a hint of biscuity malts. The taste has a nice hoppy but not over-the-top bitterness than finished quite clean with acidic fruitiness and herbal hop spicy tones. The mouth feel is lively and refreshing, alcohol is very well hidden. This is very well done and worthy of hype. I still would love to get a bottle for myself but will settle for the chance to finally try this.

Bottle courtesy of BMan1113VR. Clear orange pour, small bubbly head. Nice rich heavy hops on the nose. Some pine and must but not overbearing. Tingles over the palate. Dry finish but pretty hoppy. A nice double. Finish is just a tad bit harsh.

Bottle via a trade with jhenry04. Pours with a hazy amber body and a large white head. Big, herbal and spicy hop aroma with a touch of caramel and alcohol to back up the huge hop notes. Taste is really nicely balanced with floral and herbal hops, nice alcohol and a sweet, nearly fruity, caramel finish. Very nice. Light bubbles, low residual sugars. A very good IIPA!

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Orange-brown, very zippy. An aroma as a dream: very hoppy, quite woody, strong, complex. Tastes very intense, strong-hoppy, very fresh, finish grasy-woody, modest prickly-scratchy. An impressing beer! Big thanks to wavers for that bottle!

wavers with the mad hookup here! Pours a rich amber color, small white head.Resin, citrus and caramel malt hit the nose followed by some tropical fruit. Flavor is both hoppy and malty. Hops are very bitter and resinous. Grapefruit dominates with hints of tropical fruit and more spicy hops. Good caramel malt.

Pours a clear dark copper/ golden orange color with a one finger off white frothy head that slowly fades into a nice thick ring and foam cap that lingers throughout leaving chunks of soapy lacing in it’s wake. Resinous citrus pine hop aroma with some nice floral notes and sweet caramel malt backbone. Citrus fruit notes of pineapple and grapefruit. Very hop forward with a chewy resinous bitter hop mouthfeel. Slightly creamy body with lots of floral and pine notes accompanied by clean crisp citrus flavors. As in the aroma, there are some nice pineapple and grafefruit notes. Possibly some lemon. Very drinkable with the ABV almost completely masked with only the slightest heat in the cloying dry pine finish. Highly recommended.

bomber thanks to cloudskipper. Have been wanting this for awhile now. Pours amber with an off-white head. Nose is of citris and floral hops with caramel malt in there as well. Taste is delicious citrus and resinous hops with some caramel. This may have faded just a tad from when it was fresh. Must have been awesome as it first came out. Still quite fantastic. Mouthfeel is medium with a nice, lingering bitterness.
