Commercial Description:
Fruli is a high quality Belgian white beer blended with pure fruit juice. The strawberry juice compliments the zesty fruitiness of the wheat beer and the result is a natural, soft and refreshing drink that is simply delicious!

From bottle. Wow, very impressive aroma of fresh strawberries, almost as if they have been just picked and juiced. Cloudy pinkish, red in colour with a thin lace. Sweet strawberry flavour, not strong alcohol or even hops notes with the beer. More like a fruit juice. Pleasant fruit beer, a little on the sweet side. Will keep the Mrs happy whilst I sample some more beers to my liking.

Light red coloured beer with some average carbonation and an average pink head. Sweet strawberry fruity aroma with some herby touches. Medium palate. Finish is sweet fruity, little candy dry strawberry hints. Medium one.

Bottle. Pours amber with a white head. Very sweet aroma, like strawberry jam. The flavor is also sweet, like candy sugar, not just strawberry, but cranberry and apple. Yeah it’s a bit overly sweet, but it’s pretty tasty.

(draft) Pink head atop dark pink lemonade body, nice lacing. Aroma is sweet strawberry. Taste is moderately sweet, strawberry, some cream. Smooth/creamy medium body. Quite tasty for what it is.

250ml bottle from Tesco. Looks like a strawberry milkshake. Very sweet strawberry aroma matched by the taste. Quite refreshing if drunk almost at freezing but if warm it’s extremely cloying.

Hazy pink body with almost no head despite a vigorous pour. Smells very artificial, like strawberry candy and cough syrup mixed together. Also tastes reminiscent of cough medicine with some wheat thrown in for good measure. The only highlight is the palate, light, slightly fizzy, and refreshing. Truly awful.
