Commercial Description:
Fruli is a high quality Belgian white beer blended with pure fruit juice. The strawberry juice compliments the zesty fruitiness of the wheat beer and the result is a natural, soft and refreshing drink that is simply delicious!

From bottle. Terrific strawberry aroma. Like macerated berries and cream. Sweet, lush. No harsh notes in nose and no hop character. Dark red amber murky, like juice, with no head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Sweet, sweet, sweet. Tons of berry flavor and lots of sugar. Not much bitterness or malt character. Like strawberry juice with carbonated rose water. OK, but not one I’d likely have again. My wife enjoyed it tremendously.

On tap at Capone’s. Pours pink/red with about a finger of head. Smell is of strawberries. Mouthfeel is syrupy thick with plenty of carbonation. Taste is of strawberries, strawberries, and some more strawberries. It’s fairly sweet but not overly so. I liked this one a lot. It tasted of natural strawberries, not some fake crap artificial flavors. I wouldn’t drink this everyday but I thought it was the best (of very few) fruit beers that I’ve tried.

Light pink color. No particular fruit is recognizable. Moderate yeast, and quite sweet, but a bit artificial. Sweet. Not a terrible product, and more flavorful than many fruit beers.

Bottle sample. Slighty berry red pour, little carbonation and a slightly sweet strawberry aroma. Flavor was slightly sweet strawberry very creamy and finished some funky off flavors on the finish. Probably amazing fresh, but this bottle didn’t seem fresh.

Draught at Capone’s: Extremely sweet aroma of strawberries and a hint of funk. Poured orange in color with a small, dense, off-white head that lasted throughout. Hazy. Not sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is very heavily sweet. Tastes of strawberries, slight malt, and a hint of funk. Medium body. Average texture. Soft to average carbonation. Very sweet, strawberry finish. Way too sweet to drink much of. Tastes like a Strawberry Filled Hard Candy.

Pours copper with ruby red hues as well as gold highlights and thin white head. The aroma is very sweet and fruity with sugar drenched strawberries, some boysenberries and ripe Rainer cherries. The taste is full and sweet starting with sugar dredged strawberries, a carbonation tingle and a hint of saccharin. It maintains a nice body to the finish. Really fruity stuff.

Bottle. This beer has a hazy reddish colour to it and has a strong berry aroma. Virtually no head and the first thing I noticed was how sweet it was. The taste isn’t really bad it just didn’t taste to much like a beer, mostly like sugar and of course strawberry. Overall its alright if you like sweeter beers but only then.

8.4 oz. bottle. Extreme fruity nose, heavy sweet strawberry, somewhere between squishy candy and a wine cooler. Thick ruby body with a short beige head. Very sweet taste, jammy strawberry, trending toward artificiality with stale overtones. Light crispness and medium-full body. Soft and a good starter for some, but the base beer doesn’t blend terribly well with the juice, and I want to move on quickly to the next.
