Unclear medium red amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy spicy, nelikke, cinnamon, cold chrismas glögg. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily - sticky, carbonation is soft. [20081120]

Dec 8, 2008 On tap. Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Very spicy nose with distinct notes of Speculaas - cardamom is sticking out but also cinnamon and bitter orange peel. Fairly light body, medicinal and herbal spiciness. Finishes dry with a light bitterness. Clearly they just emptied a bag of Speculaas spices in this - way too much X-mas in a glass! 281108

Dec 5, 2008 From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange/brown with a small tan head. Raisin and cardemomme sweet and spiced aroma. Sweet and mild roasted malty with a distinct dry cardemomme flavour following. Dry and spiced finish with a herbal driven bitterness. Quite dry herbal and cardemomme spiced in the far finish.
