From tap at the brewpub, 6%. Pours dark brown to black with a small, dense, tan head. Aroma is roasted malty with a mild spice note. Vague plastic note. Sweet, dark caramel, chocolate and roasted mat in a light a pleasant mix. Mild fruity note. Roasted acidic and bitter to a medium dry finish. Medium body. Light spiced and bitter into the far finish.

It’s pitch black with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roated malt, chocolate and a hint of spice. The flavour has a light sweetness, light spices and notes of roasted malt, chocolate, light licorice and it ends on a dry note. It’s straightforward and quite nice.
