| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 6, 2009 Crystal clear and amber, Piper’s dumped into a glass produces less than expected white head and pretty much goes average all the way. Aromas of sweet malts, slightly floral hops and maybe a metallic feel (not sure). Taste is pretty standard as well with decent malts on the sweet side, weak spicy hops and a touch of overripe orange fruit (not oranges though). Fairly smooth beer, medium bodied with a weak bitter finish. fiulijn (7420), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
