draft, also at some bar in Victoria - Pours copper with a thin, fading head. The aroma has some light malt and hops. The taste is caramel malts and pretty light hops for the style. It was on the thin side, though not too bad. There are plenty of better beers around.

On tap in some bar in Victoria. Light amber colour with a thin head. A touch of sweet maltiness in the nose and not much else. The flavour is lacking in hops for a pale ale and is a bit watery. However it was free!

Bottle: Pours a dark gold with a med. frothy white head. Aroma is honey-ish malt sweetness. Too faint slightly fruity hop. Flavour is quite malty, tin tasting bitterness. Not one of my preferred regional pales.

Can. Golden orange with a very small frothy white head. Weak malt aroma, some caramel but not much else. Flavours are OK: Caramel, some fruitiness and a bit of metallic after taste. Probably would be better on tap.

Can. Golden amber body with a small white head. Lighty buttery/caramel aroma. Rough astringent harshness over dilute malt. Average to thin palate.

On tap at the Palace Hotel bar. Amber with an off-white head. Aroma of mild citrus and floral hops. Flavor is a fairly standard pale ale with noticeable calcium sulfate. OK beer.
