Flavour is light herbal and grassy with a somewhat syrupy sweetness. Thin bodied, and has a short life on the palate. CapFlu (3483), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Pours a medium, frothy white head with a golden body. Nose is somewhat grassy and mildly malted. Flavour is overly malted to my taste with a bitter hop finish. | 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 22, 2005 Very mild herbal aroma with some fruity notes. Clear golden body with plenty of carbonation is topped by a fleeting, fizzy, white, fully diminishing head. Mild grainy pils malt flavour with very light finishing bitterness. Light body with very strong, crisp carbonation that borders on aggressive. Enjoyed on tap in the Maple Leaf Lounge at Vancouver Airport. Goldorak (439), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 5, 2005 Pasteurized apple juice golden, with a lanky layer of micronized bubbles.
Grassy at first, it slowly develops a corn syrupy sweetnes that takes over firmly as the pint goes down.
Body is a bit more affirmed than your standard macro lager (probably more attributable to the corn syrup and low carbonation to actual malt), the aftertaste, like the looks, is dry like a bitter apple. A baby step above your brother in law’s lager. albert007 (409), Penobsquis, New Brunswick, Canada

Flavor is clean with malt & butter with subtle hop bitterness bite in the finish. an Ok lager, especially for a canned one. highlandlad (1261), Sydney, Australia

I am a supporter of Vancouver Island Brewery so i drink this on occasion.
nothing wrong with it,but it is not special in any way EXCEPT that it is much better then the rest of the Canadian lagers and that is not saying much really.
