(Bottle) Thanks to Becky at the Vancouver Island Brewery. This is their competitor to the Island’s biggest seller - Lucky Lager. Pours a medium, frothy white top hat with a golden body. Nose is somewhat grainy and malted. Flavour is overly malted to my taste and somewhat fizzy and thin but all in all a mid-range lager...

341ml brown bottle. Gold coloured beer, white head fades quickly. Sweet aroma, grainy. Grainy flavour, some malt sweetness, faint trace of grassy hops in there as well. Finishes with a little residual malt, toward the dry side. Light body, medium carbonation.

Bottle. Pours citric gold, bright large short lived top. Mild, grainy aroma. Imagine aroma of average pale lager. Thin, slightly nutty character, thin pale malt base. Forgettable

Bottle. Clear gold-yellow with a small white head. Aroma of sweet corn grains and feet. The flavour is sugary sweet and watery. Low carbonation. Weak.

Medium golden colour. Light aroma, mainly grainy. The flavour is fairly grainy as well, with a slight grassy note. Standard, uneventful lager.
