Draught, in Barcelona.
I'd been in search of good beer all through Barcelona, and finally I found something that was drinkable. In my best Spanish, I made some enquiries as to the origin of the beer. There was next to no English on offer in this place and I had my reservations about the authenticity of this beer. Then after much persistence and a flash of my tasting notes the owner of the bar was summoned. He proudly explained that he brewed it down stairs and proceeded to top my glass up quicker then I could drink it. All of this fun aside this beer was the best local beer sampled in Barcelona. Pale gold colour, with a slight white that leaves a sexy, lacy white trail down the tall thin glass. Refreshing malty aroma, malty, hoppy taste. Lovely finish.
