dunkpigen (306), Kolding, Denmark Aug 14, 2007 Tap, brought home in a swingtop bottle. Aroma very clearly elderflower with a caramel sweetness to it. Brownish and muddy witht no head. A bit thin, and the taste of elderflower is not as strong or sweet as the aroma, but it gives the beer a tartness. thewolf (3989), Kolding, Denmark Aug 14, 2007 Tap, taken home in a swing-top bottle. Pours a muddy dark nutty brown with a fizzy off white head that quickly disappears. Aroma is sweet with a lot of elderflowers - much like a elderflower juice. There is a sharpness to it as well, a little tart. The tartness comes back in the flavour - a bit surprising, but not excatly bad. A fruity elderflower flavour dominates with a sweet malty caramel finish. Not too fantastic.
