Wim (1278), Turnhout, Belgium Jul 16, 2008 brown coloured body with a off white head a spicy malty aroma a malty fruity taste with a spicy dry bitter finish Yves (989), Beerse, Belgium Jul 13, 2008 Light brown coloured beer with small white head. Aroma like burned ashes. Full palate. Finish is herby, cereal like and little dry. Bart (1625), Vosselaar, Belgium Jul 6, 2008 Darker amber coloured beer with lots of small yeast parts. Medium carbonation and a small white head. Medium to full palate. Finish is light bitter malty with a rather strange ending, sweet malty, yeasty and fruity touches. JorisPPattyn (5155), Antwerpen, Belgium May 19, 2008 Mossy brown beer with no head left. Very outspoken old bread nose, bready, coloured malts. Again bread in the taste, sweet, but not exaggerated; quite German in character, faint impression of Maillard. Medium bodied, quite slick but not very exciting palate and aftertaste, if long. Not bad! Can’t understand the "laait" name, unless in conjunction with the name of the association. Thanks to Treinjan for sharing. Jerre (1755), Waregem, Belgium May 18, 2008 Bottle, 33 cl. Thx to Steven.
