Veltins Pilsener

app.: golden, clear flav.: medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour from grevenstein/germany, not hannover! this is what i call a very normal beer. it´s a local beer from my area, so i´ve to drink it on every party ;)

500 ml can from SAQ, served almost cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear light golden with a smallish white head. Aroma: Nice grassy green hops, light biscuity malts, a little metal. Palate: Medium body and carbonation, nice Pils smoothness. Flav.: A nice blend of grassy hops and soft biscuit malts witha bit more malt than the nose; dry with some bitterness.

I remember this being more bitter back in the day...palate must have changed.

Bottle 33 cl. Golden pilsner with a minimal white head. Aroma; sweet malty. Flavor; malt and a hoppy sence, ok pilsner

330 ml bottle. Hannover, Germany. Clear pale golden colour with small white head. Quite strong grassy hoppy aroma. Grassy hoppy flavour. Crisp. Decent German Pilsener.

on tap at shultzy’s in seattle. light color with a more american macro lager taste. corny wheat taste as opposed to clear wheat I was expecting. Decent, but there are far better options.

I have had this a couple times on tap and all I could say was "Blech! Corn!" Definitely not enough of the traditional German characteristics.

Draught@The White Horse, Parsons Green. Pale golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grassy hops, mild saltwater, some mild bready malts. flavour is quite much the same. Not that nice.

It is a nice lighter side beer. However, there is a slight bitterness to the after-taste. It’s not extreme, but enough for me to drop my overall impression from 17 to 14.
