Grassy taste with fruity notes, some citrus and orange. Crispy with prickly mouthfeel. LinusStick (1851), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 20, 2007 A slightly disappointing pilsener. This is a hard style to rate as, to me, they all taste the same with different amounts of carbonation and hops. Pour was a light clear gold with a 1 finger white head. Aroma was pilsener-esque. Taste was medium carbonation, nice and crisp with hops shining through in the end. Little malt if any. imdownthepub (5177), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 14, 2007 Bottled, pasteurised, 500ml. Straw colour with good white head. Good flavourful Pils, nicely citric orange, tangy almost zesty. Reasonable malt body, some carbonation taste, but nothing too offputting, a decent bitter finish, I quite liked it. yomintyfresh (53), USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2007 Nice Pils. Light yellow color with a huge white head. German version has an almost floral taste (like Budvar) but the U.S. version is a bit off. This rating’s for the German version. ¾ (5003), Colorado, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 31, 2007 Bottle. Clear yellow with a large bubbled, tall white head. Stenchy corn and grain alcohol nose. Crisp and sharp, tingling with sour apple and corn. A simple beer, harsh almost, tastes and feels like a strong lager rather than less than 5%. conor23 (110), Elgin, Illinois, USA

Aroma=Sweet, rather than crisp, base malt, like a helles, but a nice whiff of hops; also a touch of corn/DMS. Pale straw with white fizz that drops to a thin film, leaving little white islands on the glass sides. Typical, gentle German pils, with perhaps a little DMS. Fairly thin, with the weak hops bitterness accentuated by an somewhat unpleasant ethanol flavour. Thin, medium carbonation, lasting bitterness. apingos (77), Rockford, Illinois, USA
