Aroma of light grains and saaz hops. Flavor is grassy and grainy with a fair bitter finish. Not quite as crisp as some of the other pilseners that I have loved. Also seemed to lack a little in the hops. Very drinkable though and not bad for a pre-season hockey warmup beer. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA

Unfortunately, I’m not really enjoying the malt profile all that much, and the while I might normally like hops that impart a spicy character on a beer, they aren’t doing it for me either in this beer. The aroma is grassy and grainy, but a bit of stinky feet creeps in there too. Light bodied, crisp finish, good carbonation, but not exciting my palate too much. Dark straw in color, with just a slight haze to it. A very bubbly, white head forms during the pour and the retention is fair, as a bubbly area breaks up what would otherwise be a thin, but complete sheen. However, plenty of patchy lacing decorates the glass. Pretty much just an average imported German pilsener to me. Hooker (450), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada
