Bottle. Small white head that mostly diminished, sparse lacing, fine-small sized bubbles, very little carbonation, hazy, and a pale yellow hue. Aroma was skunky and malty as was the flavor. Smooth, thin palate. Drainpour.

I’m always a bit apprehensive with pilsners for some reason, but this one is a true treat for the style. A nice bite makes this more reminiscent of a light German lager than a pilsner. Good stuff.

Blonde with nice and pretty head. Flavors are malty and spicy. Taste a little hoppy but a bit on the light side. Nice beer for the Pilsner fan. Prost!

Bottle, from some cheap supermarket in Köln. Gold, thin white head and low condition. Low malt and the faintest suggestion of hop in the nose, gentle sweet biscuity maltiness in the mouth and low sweet malt initialy in the finish but with a developing hop bitterness.

Clear, light yellow with a white head. Nose of slightly grassy hops, biscuity malts. Little flavor, some bready malt, hint of hay. Watery.

Clear amber with a foamy white head. The aroma was earthy and grassy. Some slight hint of spice. Medium bodied. Taste was rather dull and uninteresting.

From drink to the thorn. Compact foam and of good persistence. Balanced bitter with fresh aroma; delicate body.

Clear and light golden; nice head at first. Very smooth, but body seemed a little light (but not necessarily watery). Sharp metallic note. Light malt sweetness (bready) and a balanced bitterness. Flower aromas were a nice touch.
