Straw color, heavy skunky and hoppy aroma. The taste was bland and pitiful with a horrible palate. I ate a few jalepaenos to make it go away.

Straw color with a taller white head. that eventually settles to a white lid. Pale malt, a touch grainy, with hints of hay and noble hops in the aroma. Not as crisp in the nose as a top pils. Lightly sweet pale malt with a decent hops balance. Quite thick in feel. A second tier german pils.

Golden color, no head. Aroma was something new to me, skunky and grassy, not very tempting. Flavor differs pretty much from aroma, conveniently hopped and nicely carbonated beer. Crispy palate makes this beer very refreshing, although more body could make this beer better. Flavor is standard pilsner, not anything special. But if pilsner smells like this, it doesn’t make very good first impression.

Can (BB 02/2005, gravity 11,8%)
Yellow lager color, foamy white head, lace. Not much aroma. Just a bit hoppy and maybe metallic nose. Quite typical German pilsener with firm malt body and hops, but quite thin palate. Bitter grassy aftertaste. Too one dimensional to my taste. (4/2/5/2/8 2.1)
Re-rated, can (BB 01/2006)
Pale yellow, lively carbonation, creamy white head, lace. Sweet malty, buttery aroma and a bit hoppy. Medium-bodied. Somewhat hoppy and malty. Clean, basic German pilsener. (5/2/5/3/10 2.5)

Has a skunky, grassy hops aroma. Clear golden body topped by a thin off-white head. Bitter, grassy, cerealy body with slightly sweet malt balance. A bit cardboardy. Not unpleasant, but not worth returning to.

Maybe mine was skunked, but this wasn’t too good. There was some nice hop bitterness at the finish, but it wasn’t enough to cover the skunk.

Medium golden color with a big egg white colored head that is retained. Aroma is nicely hoppy with a bit of grain. Flavor is hoppy/bitter with a bit of dryness in the finish. Good pils.
