Low head with fair retention. Flowery aftertaste. A light beer even by Pilsener standards, but most especially by German standards. Nate (2552), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA

Sparkling pale gold with thin white lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonaion. Clean. Start is fine balance of sweet, acidic, and bitterness. Maintains balance through fibish, and leaves a light bitter and crisp after. Very refreshing. One of the best pils I'v tried. ogivlado (3070), Zagreb, Croatia

Appearance ok. Nice bright golden color, clear. Aroma is lightly malty and pleasant. Flavor is light ly malty, sweetish initially and mellow. As it warms it breaks down though. I am not impressed overall.. StoutOrDeath (119), USA

I'll just say that this is a typical pilsner. Nothing more. I prefer a tastier beer (lagers, stouts, etc..). This is a pretty good pilsner. I love Veltins, it is smooth and insistently tasty, with a flavour that creeps towards bitterness and keeps you hooked. Crisp, and tasty - balanced I'll say.
