Veltins V+ Apple

The bottle looks kiddy-like, the beer in the glass is quite zippy, huge head. Starts very, very sweet, gluey, oily, some sweet fruity notes. Definetely too much sugar!

It is very light golden and the head is huge, white and creamy. The aroma has notes of apple, ginger and beer. The sweet flavor has notes of apple and beer, and the ginger gives a light peppery touch. The overall impression is a little too sweet.

Bottle. Yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is apple, malt. Flavour is apple, malt, sugar, fruit. Not my kind of beer.

Bottle. It’s a pale yellow drink topped by a minimal, white head. The aroma is mostly apples, but with hints of pilsner in the background. The flavor is apple-fruity, with a slightly sourish touch, and hints of bitterness and pilsner. Thin on the palate. The finish is also mostly apples, with some bitterness. Bottle. Small head with very short duration. Color is pale pale yellow. Aroma and taste are bready malt, artificial apple and on the good side, some ginger.

Clear light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light malty, ginger and apple notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and fresh with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081128]

33 cL clear bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours clear and golden yellow with a green glare with a fully gone head. Dry and bitter apple aroma, solid artificial. Sweet and artificial apple flavoured with a mild ginger note. Flat aspertam finish. Not disgusting, just extremely boring.
