Bottled. This bottle also looks very youth-like. But not bad. The “beer” in one of the better beermixes, it’s drinkable and tastes not too chemical. Okay.

Bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado (thanks!)
Contains a curuba and tequila aroma that contains almonds. Wow, just wow. Poured a yellow body witha small white head that went away fast. Nose is all passionfruit, which dominates the taste as well but one can feel a light hopiness there as well. The finish and the aftertaste are vaguely unpleasant for a second (medicinal) but that’s gone almost immediately. Good juice, bad beer.

It’s yellow-golden with a creamy head. The aroma has a light sweetness and notes of exotic fruits. The flavour is refreshing with a lot of exotic fruits like kiwi and pineapple. It’s OK and refreshing and would be a great welcome drink – but beer – no.

Bottled. This one just hit the market at the beginning of this month. It’s advertised as "exotic" and comes in a clear bottle, target audience is obvious. Claims to have the taste of the "South American curuba fruit" and tequila, though the label says neither was an ingredient - only the "aroma." And a lot of sugar. I suppose the saving grace for these new lines is the beer component, and Veltins is passable enough, though this many additives will detract from any brew. Anyway, a rich yellow pour with a green tint, sudsy little head, and a heavy dose of carbonation. The aroma is indeed pronounced and fruity, but clearly artificial. Feel like I need a little umbrella. Cloying. Tequila component is minimized, and thankfully some of the lager manages to fight through, though the battle’s already been lost. Refreshing, indeed, but still not beer, just a palatable way for teenagers to get drunk.

Bottle 33cl. @ [ Tasting by Maria ].
Clear light to medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good - fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is tropic fruits, ala fruit juice, kiwifruit. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average duration. Refreshing. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (060908)

33 cL clear bottle. Clear and golden yellow with a fully diminished white head. Mango-like fruity aroma. Flavour is fruity too. Not much beer here. Sweet fruity flavour into the finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear golden with an off-white head. Sweetish aroma of exotic fruit. Medium body with astringent, dry quinine-like accents and again flavours of exotic fruit. I don’t really pick up any Tequila accents. 080408
