Ow yes, another one of the great Veltins collection of rarities. The energy variant. Well I can assure it doesn’t give you energy. Most likely it will leave you behind with a discusting taste in your mouth and a still thirsty body. Offcourse there is not much exciting in its taste, red bull lemonade with some tones of what looks like pilsener. Very artficial, very chemical, loads of sugar, bubblegum and all the other stuff you do not want in your beer. Completely missing its purpose... And indeed mix this energystuff with crappy wodka. Give it to 18 year old girls (I’m mild now, but we don’t want this rating to become rated NSFW, now do we?) and try to seduce them. Works definately better with wodka than with beer.

Bottled. Clear, yellow beer with a small white head. Both aroma and flavor is mostly Battery or Red Bull-like, (or like any other similar energy-drink) with some maltiness in the flavor. There’s probably some demand for this thin-bodied drink, but why not pour some vodka in the energy-drink instead? Don’t ruin beer this way. (061228)

Bottle. Sweet smell of energy drink. Almost water colour, small unstable head. Tastes almost like Red Bull or something, but the mouthfeel lets on that there is also beer in this. The late aftertaste also reveals some beerlike bitterness, though not pleasant. Tastes OK at the beginning, but after half a bottle, it gets sickening.

THis was a new sort of beer for me. It smells like all those energy beverages, which do not smell to good, but tasted better, although not like beer at all.

Sweet nose, huge aroma of Red Bull. Pale yellow body, small white head. Sweet and artificial flavor.
