Extremely fresh apple aroma thrones over just baked bread undertones. It is very sweet, but doesn’t feel agressive, somehow as if the carbonation played the role of a balancing dryness at the beginning. Gets drier toward the ends, but leaves an apple skin kiss. Charming rustic character accompanies all along, but is at its best in mid-mouth where you can almost taste hay like flavors, maybe leather and branches even. Fitting palate. Refreshing, farmy, easy to drink. HogTownHarry (4020), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada

Shared with GregClow, tupalev, DougShoemaker, mds, Radek and others - GregClow’s bottle. Pretty nice cider - clear pale yellow, some bubbling, wisp of white on top. Simple aroma of fresh apple, fairly sweet with a hint of tartness lingering behind, a hint of cobwebby yeast. Taste follows, fresh sweet apple, a bit yeasty, some sparkling white wine character; thinnish body, but very refreshing on a hot day, lightly syrupy and sticky, lightly carbonated, finishes crisp and not overly sweet - quick off the tongue, but a nice delicate treat. Slightly carbonated with sweet gold apple character. Good, fresh organic feel. Clean, good balanced sourness with soft carbonation. jerc (3945), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 7, 2007 Bottle from the LCBO. Pale bubbly yellow body. Mild sweet fruity apple aroma. Muted, sweet fruity apple flavour with a tart dry finish. Average palate is pleasantly effervescent. Extremely drinkable, but a bit simplistic at times. I feel like I am under rating it, but thats where the numbers came out. CapFlu (3483), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

I definitely like the sparkling ciders more than the still-ciders. The cork popped on this du Minot bottle and a mild, apple aroma filled the room. Nose of very sweet McIntosh apples. Amazingly no sugar is added to this cider during fermentation. Absolutely beautiful, fresh and refreshing flavour. Highly carbonated with a sweet and dry finish. Excellent! beerbuzzmontreal (2911), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Very good and refreshing, excellent cider ! DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada

Nose of apples, with a ricey, sake like note; translucent gold with a lot of carbonation, the head recedeing quickly leaving a quarter inch ring around the glass’s sides; flavor a combo of sweet and tart appleiness.
