muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA Jul 3, 2007 Small sample from 375 ml bottle at the Mondial, Montreal (May 2007). I didn’t quite get how this was different from the "regular" ice cider from these guys; the woman tried to explain it to me (something about when the apples are picked, sugar content etc) but it was hard to understand. At any rate, this is blonde and lightly oily with fair legs....lightly spicy, very sweet and juicy baked apple aroma....body has more tartness than most ice ciders, but thick graham-cracker/honey textures dominate....very light bodied towards the finish, clean, with just a bare hint of its alcoholic strength....on the whole, nice but nothing exceptional in the realm of Quebec cidres de glaces.
