Aroma of apples, spices. Cloves?
Taste is a nice balance of sour with some sweetness. Somewhat cider-like, but also a very "winey" beer. Alcohol barely noticeable.
Love this beer! One of my favorites.

Taste of cherries and sugar. The sweetnes is copansated by the refreshing sournes. Could maybe have a stronger palate. A very intresting and tasty beer. Bigsilky (322), Charleston, USA

Apple and sherry vinegar all of the nose with hints of sweet caramel. Dark and red fruits exude through the palate. The acidity has tamed and the malt has dryed a little from age. With a more complex and rounded palate this beer continues to release wave after wave oif flavors. A soft vanilla sweetness seems to round everything out as the bubbles caress the mouth. On the finish, lingering dryed apple, skins and all, and old malt sweetness are foiled by a refreshing acidity. Autolyzed yeast lend a slight savory touch. LanceUppercut (133), Sweden
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 4, 2009 It pours a dark reddish colour, with almost no head. Aroma is really good and sweet, containing red wine and cherries. Taste is equally awesome and brings out everything that was present in the aroma, plus a nice touch of yeast, cherry stones and metal/minerals. Finish brings out a little too much funk which is the only bad thing I have to say. Great brew. Cirrhosis (619), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Pours very dark clear reddish brown, massive fizzy head that had moderate retention. Weak aroma, I think I can smell some malts and I’m picking up some kind of weak sweet fruit aroma. What the hell is this taste!!!! Insanely sweet way sweeter then I ever imagined it would be, I was expecting a sour beverage but I got this. Maybe possibly sour caramel flavor but what the hell is that?!?!?!?!? Not bad tasting but I just can’t handle the intense sweetness of this brew, would never be able to drink more then one in a night. I shall rereview Bloekie (165), Belgium

Bottle opens with a gush and pours a deep ruddy red color with a dense tan head. Aroma of caramel, sour cherries, red apples, grapes, damp oak and cinnamon. Sour dark fruit and cherry flavor. Lots of caramel sweetness and oak balance the sourness. A touch cloying though. Medium body with lots of carbonation.
