May 22, 2008 Updated: Apr 20, 2009Red brown appearance. Barely no head. Aroma is balsamic vinegar, woody, red fruits, some sweetness if sweetness is perceivable with nose. Complex but way too sweet, with some sourness. (3.8)
Drank a couple of bottles, I’ve found it less sweet, with a superb sourness, mingling with a subtle vanilla woodiness and a mature red fruits note.

Dark caramel, small creamy head.
Sweet, overbalancing the tart. Acidic on the tounge.

May 18, 2008 If nothing else, this is a beautiful-looking beer with a dark reddish brown, a thick creamy head and lots of lacing. Aroma is a nice balance of cherries and cider vinegar. Flavor is similar with a mix of sweet and tart. Cherry flavor still present, with the addition of some tart granny smith apples. Medium body and a smooth finish. I’m not a huge fan of the Flemish sour style, but this is a good, surprisingly drinkable beer.

May 13, 2008 Deep amber in color with an inch-thick tan head. Mild woodsy aroma with some dried fruit character. Flavor is sweet and sour, subtle balance of oak, vanilla, cranberries, sugar and hazelnut frosting. Very, very interesting. Full bodied and complex. Excellent.

May 12, 2008 Pours a hazy deep reddish brown with a nice tan head. Aroma of sour fruits....wow lots of sour funk in this one. Flavor is fruit, sweetness that balances out the sour, a little bit of nuttiness. Finishes nice and smooth. I quite enjoyed this style.

May 11, 2008 Updated: Aug 27, 200825 cl bottle at Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen. Amber color, nice off-white head. Aroma is dried and sour fruit. Flavor is fruity, sweet, oak, dried fruit. Very nice carbonation. Balanced and quite balanced.
