Pours a beautiful ruby color with a small head. Aroma of tart cherries, figs and a dusty merlot. Incredibly smooth. This drinks like liquid candy, without being too sweet. Strong fruits - cherries, figs and a bit of apricot, lots of apple cider, with some balsamic vinegar as well. It’s delicious - like a tart cherry brandy without the alcohol burn. I like this more every time I have it. Delicious.

Smells strongly of vinegar typical of its style. The flavor was similarily sour. This was more balanced and drinkable than other sour ales, but still not for me. I did not enjoy this, but increased my ratings because I enjoyed this beer relative other sour ales.

on tap at beachwood bbq... I have had alot of variation on this beer...some bottles are sweeter and some are more sour.....but I am reviewing this on tap...... good sweet and sour nose....not as complex as some flanders reds..... taste is sweet and sour but not as sour as I like in my flanders reds r

I had a bottle just the other day I shared a bottle with some friends that was fantastically sour, however I have had experiences where this beer has been unforgivably sweet, thankfully that’s usually not the case. This is a fantastic introduction for anyone who wants to start dabbling in sour, funky, or wild beers. Basically this is the case because this ale highlights a lot of the wonderful flavors within beers of this sort, but in a delicate and less overpowering way. Flavors are of sour cherries, light oak, light funk, and dry fruit with a strong lightly roasted malt background upon which these flavors are delightfully displayed. Color is opaque brown with a pretty amber tint when held up to the light, this always seems a bit filtered, but there is a bit of sediment that settles in the bottom of the glass. Smell is pleasant with oak, cherry, and vanilla.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a dark red with a sall white head and a sweet blueberry aroma with hints of yeast and alcohol. The flavor is highly influenced by the fruit juice, sweetish with some sour notes in the start. The mouthfeel is very soft and in the end the alcohol is noticable, but still nice. A nice beer!

A dark redish brown with a small white head. A sweet sour taste with the flavor of cherries. Medium carbonation, nice balance. Bottle not quite as good as on tap but still very enjoyable.
