On tap at Zeno’s Pub - State College, PA. Tangy, oaken nose backed with superfluous sugars, cherry pits and dry tannins. Pours a brilliant ruby and brown, with an off edge of tan. Flavor is initially a little artificially saccharin sweet, but slowly develops very classic Roselaire tartness, joined with a jolt of good oak, savory spices and fluent alcohols. Sippable, reflexive and mature. Fresh. Dries out with some faint mineral palate. Nice.

Wow - pours a dark reddish brown, almost no head, but a bit of lacing is evident with each sip. Amazing flavor, sour apples, malt and grapes. Finishes very dryly, with oak and soil.

(bottle Exp Date 12/09): Pours a brown-reddish body. Tannish head, small, lastingish. Sour dark fruit aroma, acoholy. Fruity sweet taste. Very fizzy. Not as sour as it smells. Loght fruity, appley. A little flat. Light taste. Might be better w/food.

this is rather dard for traditional red beer. it has a perfect balance between sourness and rich fruity aroma.

This is my first sour ale. Pours a dark reddish brown with a medium head. It immediately smells of vinegar, and also some fruity notes. The taste is a pleasant surprise after the nose, in short, amazing! It has a rich fruity, but somewhat sour, flavor that I have never witnessed before. I am going to have to find more beers like this. Highly Recommended!

Pours a chesnut colour with a thick off white head. Aroma: tart dark fruit, balsamic vinegar, cherry stones, and a bit of funk. Flavour: Combination of sweet fruity and sour qualities which i just luv luv luv. Cant believe i can get this locally now in london. Awesome and unsual a great palate cleanser between stouts and lambics.
