May 13, 2008 Brown red clear pour with a white head and nice lacing on the glass. Lots of cherry and vinegar and other funky musty notes on the nose. Sweet cherry flavor, almost like candy. Then a slight sourness takes over with a nice meaty finish. Not bad.

May 10, 2008 On-tap at Stone on 5/8/08. Pours red with a brown tint and a thin, crisp, off-white head. Smells slightly malty with a cough syrup cherry smell as well. Tastes earthy malty up front with a tart, fake cherry flavor through the middle to the finish. Medium body with ok carb. Not a favorite for me. I’d be surprised if real cherries were used to brew it.

May 9, 2008 Bottle. Clear medium to dark red color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light red head. Aroma is light yeasty, barnyard, moderate to light heavy cherry, fruity sour. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and acidic with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (060408)

May 7, 2008 Bottle shared with DownsouthGav @ Hoopers, Camberwell. Dark amber colour with thin off-white head and low carbonation. Aroma is sour fruits, malts, cherries. Taste is funky cherry, slightly metallic, fruity, oak and a little vinegar. Nice sourness but not overly so. Very nice.

Apr 25, 2008 Bottle, ’t Pothuiske, Maastricht. Reddy-chestnut with a thin off-white head. Nose is sour cherry and some berry tones with some dark yeasty funkiness. Mouth is a tart cherry, then some icing sugar and a little yeastiness too. Some woody tones at the end. Good.

Apr 19, 2008 Bottle. Poured a reddish color with a thin head that went away quickly. Aroma of sour cherries, and a good amount of bretty funk. Nice tartness, followed by cherry, funk, and a little metal. Pretty funky with nice tartness. Enjoyable.

Apr 12, 2008 Dark red amber with a huge and lasting head. The aroma is sourish with notes of yeast/brett and berries. The flavour has an OK berry acidity, a light sweetness, notes of berries, black berries and cherries. It’s refreshing and pleasant, but I would have liked the cherry notes more clear and the brett-like notes a bit subdued.

Apr 3, 2008 Pours a brown-red with decent light red head. Smells of citrus and vinegar. Flavour is heavy on the cherries, it has an odd sweet yet vinegary character to it. Not one of my favourites - slightly too sour for my liking.
