| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 4, 2007 Ruby color with a small fizzy off-white head. Has that what I call ’’barnyard’’ scent with a bit of sour cherry tossed in there for good measure. Has a dry flavor, mild tart cherry with a bit of pucker power but not like some of the other sour ales I have tried. A nice step up for those used to the overly sweet Krieks like Bellevue. A Flemmish sour with training wheels. drewbeerme (2272), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 10/10 | 1/5 | 20/20 | Aug 23, 2007 Loads and loads of cherries - almost like drinking fizzy cherry juice. A little tarter than most Flemish Sours, and lacking in the sweetness that goes with the style. However, if you like a tart/sour, complex cherry brew, then this is for you! tytoanderso (1386), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA

Pours a beautiful mahogany brown red with a tiny pinkish white head. Dry with big notes of sour cherry. Lots of wood and vinegar. Medium bodied. I liked this quite a bit better than the regular Verhaeghe sour.
