| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 23, 2007 Pours a brownish color with some re highlights, head is a tan, slightly pinkish color, lightly blanketing the sureface. Aroma is full on sour, sour oak, sour yeast, even a metallic wiff, sligh malt vinegar hints on the tail. Flavor is muted, almost discrete. Odd, I would have expected a more pronounced flavor. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2007 Pours an amber color with some red in it and a pinkish head. Aroma is of sour cherries, oak, and some wild yeast. Flavor starts of tart of cherries and finishes with the oak. Flavor dies out pretty quick with not much of a lingering flavor. Decent but I’ve had better brews of this style. oberabcbbsok (686), Hoboken, Belgium

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 17, 2007 Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverages, 11.2 oz bottle. Dark, ruby red pour with a tight, slighlty gray head, sticks around a bit. Essence of sour cherries in the aroma. Flavor alternates between the sweet and the sour wtih a heavy does of sour cherries, soem sweet tart notes and a wee hint of vinegar. Not as puckery sour as many sour ales and the mouthfeel is kind of faded. Tastes slightly worn out. Decent nightcap though. TheGrandMaster (1857), Auckland, New Zealand
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 24, 2007 Draught at The Rake at London Bridge (London), a deep ruby red with a large pillowy pink head. Cherries (of course) in the aroma, but not too strong, but with a very good lambic-like sourness. A beautifully sour palate, though maybe a little bit sugary int he finish. The cherry isn;t too strong again, with a tannin-like feeling left in the mouth. Didn’t quite live up to the look and the smell, but still very nice. vyvvy (2034), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 21, 2007 Pours crystal clear reddish bronze with a bubbly pinkish tan head. The aroma has musty overripe red cherries with light sweetness and some sourness. Medium / thin mouthfeel that is crisp and refreshing with some light underscored prickly carbonation. The flavor starts with tart and sour cherries, vinegar notes, dark cherries, some vineous notes along with the tannins - very crisp and fairly dry. The finsih is short, sharp and crisp. A wonderfully refreshing beer. This would be great on a summer evening. Thumbs up for this fine Flemish Sour. sayravai (3729), Helsinki, Finland
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 18, 2007 (Bottled) Nice, deep ruby color with an almost unexisting head. Sweetish, tart cherry aroma with some oak barrel. Sweet-sour, mildly tart cherry and cranberry flavor with low bitterness. Medium-bodied, slightly astringent, but mostly sugary palate with a bit foamy carbonation. A quite nice dessert kriek, although there is too much sugar. Lubiere (4480), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 11, 2007 A pinkish burgundy to brown ale with a thin white pinkish head. Very pleasant aroma of sweet maraschino cherries, light lactic notes. In mouth, a bit thin, but nice tart cherries and cranberries, not very acidic, some damp wood. Overall, still in good shape.
