Poured out a nice clear dark red with brown highlights and a small faint reddish white cap that fades to a ring and leaves a small ammount of lacing. The aroma is of cheap red wine, alcohol, very obvious oak and some cherries. The taste seems dry...cherries and some peppery yeast. Comes across very tart and you can taste the wood (insert phallic joke of the moment please). Light bodied. Seems carbonated but isn’t. Has a dry, peppery finish. Odd.

Draft. Pours a nice brown hues cherry red with a thin white head. A nice mild sour cherry with a full brown ale malt backing. Nicely carbonated. A real nice drink.

Explosive huge fizzy head was produced during the pour, but then quickly vanished leaving only a skiff of bubbles floating on top of the clear deep red with hints of brown body. Strange smell smells more like a cherry port then a beer, and I can definitely notice a strong alcohol presence. Sour and refreshing, very aggressive flavor maybe a touch overpowering for my taste. The sweetness of the cherries is kept under control so this brew doesn’t get overly sweet, and this feels very light bodied and leaves your mouth dry and parched, a lingering sour flavor is left in your mouth. Not a bad brew but nothing special don’t think I could ever drink more then one a night

A clear dark red colored beer, with a thich rose head. It disappears quickly. The aroma of fruits, cherries with a little sourness in the back. The taste has also a lot of fruits, cherries, with moves over to wood, bread and dough. There are notes of sweet with a undertone of sour. The aftertaste is fresh and sour.

Pours a deep fuchsia with a light rose head. The aroma is not very complex, just tart cherries and berries. Tastes of sour black cherries with a dry finish. I like.

On tap at Collins. Pours super red color with little head, no lacing and not even much carbonation. Sour bing cherry nose and nice sour taste.

Best before 07-07-07, so maybe 4 or 5 years old.. Pours pretty un-lively, barely any lacing with a deep red color. A little bit of junk at the end of the pour. First hazy but gets darker to make visibility difficult. Aroma is very cherry pit with musky and more cherry juice. A bit of oak coming through with a bit of leafiness. taste has a bit of musky sourness but mostly more cherry and light oak. Its a bit sweeter for the style. It evaporates pretty fast on the palate. Decent stuff, aged fine enough.
12oz bottle, Bell’s tulip glass.
