25 cl bottle. Sour cherry aroma, caramel and citrus. Very nice. Rich cherry and caramel flavor, lots of citrus, very sour. Amazingly fruity. Complex, though with something medicinal as well. Yet the nice malty caramel with underlying sweetness balances the sour fruit. Blood red color. High carbonation. Very nice.

Dark ruby red. Sweet cherry nose. Some wood and yeast. Other dark fruits apparent. Flavor is malty and loads of cherry sweetness. Bitter tart unripe cherries and lactic acid. Very sweet but does not linger. finishes dry. I’m a fan.

On tap @ Hopleaf. Deep ruby pour with medium, creamy, white head. Aroma of big tart cherries, some port and malt. Tastes tart cherryish, with a medium, fruity, smooth finish.

Poured into a tulip deep crayola red body with a nice pink head smelled of fruits and red wine tasted slightly like calistoga sparking juice. the sweetness cloyed the yeast and the funk was just intermittent. sweet, but the high carbonation helped it from sticking to the tongue. overall not bad.

On tap @ Hopleaf. Rust colored; sweet aroma w/ notes of wood, cherries and nuts; flavor mostly of cherries; finishes dry and woody; I am told this is reminiscent of the Rodenbach Alexander- reminded me of a fruity Duchesse actually; onderful aroma and an alright beer on the whole.

25cl bottle poured into a tumbler. Red with one finger of head. Smells strongly of cherries. Very sour and hoppy with a lot of carbonation. Tastes like cherry candy or cough syrup. Leaves a very sweet aftertaste. Not unpleasant but not my style.

Transparent ruby with a small strawberry/cream head. Nose is acidic, rather plain, some sweet cherry but not much of anything. Flavor has lots of cherry, some woody leaf, spice, slightly balsamic but not overpoweringly so. Short finish. Enjoyable, but not very interesting.
