JCB (1713), Durham, North Carolina, USA Mar 8, 2009 Bottle from Once Upon a Vine, Richmond. Dullish brown pour with minimal crisp carbonation. Faint oak in the nose and dark cherry tartness, nothing too sharp. Oxidized and off-putting dry, vegetal finish. Some mild cherry and brune-ish flavors remain, but it’s gone medicinal. arrogantb (695), Denver, Colorado, USA Feb 23, 2009 12oz bottle dated best before 14-08-09. Clear pink-red color with light pink bubbles. Smells like a little vinegar and cherries. Sweet-sour cherry taste, syrupy, sticky, interesting beer. The stickiness is a little much for my liking but the flavor is better than average.
