| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 1, 2004 A red beer with a small white disappearing head. The aroma is slightly sweet with notes of wood and cherries. The flavor is boring of cherries, and dry wood with the carbonization tickling the tongue. The end is very dry with notes of over-ripe cherries. Papsoe (14881), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 2, 2005 (bottle 25 cl) In my version only 5,8% ABV. A different, stronger, more dry and less sweet Kriek. More beer, less fruit. A refreshing and quenching fruit-beer based on Sour Ale rather than sweetened lambic. If you miss Rodenbach Alexander, this is a decent substitute. 220896 omhper (12171), Stockholm, Sweden

Extremely dry and sulphorish cherry aroma. Dry to acidic sulphor/wooden flavour. Solid citric bite following. Woody flavour seems more dominant than the cherry fruit notes. Ends in a citric to dry sulphor wood finish. fonefan (11055), VestJylland, Denmark

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jul 19, 2007 Updated: Sep 8, 2008Bottle, 6.8%. Very slow gusher. Good acidic cherry aroma with a hint of mold and sugar. Clear dark prune colour, small head. The flavour is quite acidic with some vinegar feel which is very nice. Turns into a sort of oxidized, old apple or cider notes with a little paper. On the whole, though, the vinegar flavour dominates and makes it a nice beer. 6 3 7 3 16
Draught, 6.8% at GBBF08. Beautiful clear deep red colour. Big stable dark pink head. Good sour cherry aroma. The flavour is also nicely citric. Good cherry flavour as well. Not acid but a good citric flavour. Very nice and quite well-balanced. 8 5 8 3 19 oh6gdx (8838), Vasa, Finland

Minor hints of burnt sugar. Flavour is strong cherry and alcohol. Some cookies in aftertaste. Strong cherry in aftertaste. Tasted almost like the sweet Madeira Wines on Madeira island. Brutal kriek, but yet again very nice. joergen (8523), Frederiksberg, Denmark
