Lots and lots of cherry on the aromas and the flavors. Cherry to the end. I mean it. Really. Pretty tasty. Especially if you like Cherry. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 10, 2004 Odd looking stuff. Pours the expected deep reddish-brown. Head is initially bright pink and fuzzy but absolutely vanishes after a few seconds, just a few wisps of bubbles. Nose sour cherries and vinegar. Flavor isn’t much sour, a bit there, primarily mild sour cherry, bit of sugar, but primary flavor is a bit of odd, toasty and bready malts at the end. tronraner (1933), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 17, 2008 Bottle. Pours orange red with lots of bubbles and a bubbly cream-colored head. The aroma is mildly sour with cherry, wood, and a sort of tangy earthiness. Flavor is tart acidity and light cherries. The woody oaken notes compete with the cherry, but both are kept at bay by the strong seltzer sharpness. There are some musty cellar notes and some distant earthy hints, too. It finishes dry and fruity. Vibrant carbonation makes it somewhat champagne-like. Not bad. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 16, 2005 The aroma is sour cherries and apples. The appearance is a dark red color with a pink head. The flavor is somewhat sour but mostly sweet with some sour cherries, vanilla, and apples. The carbonation tends to get in the way a little bit. Overall this is a little sweeter than many Ive sampled from this style but its still very good. DanielBrown (1919), Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 29, 2003 Bottle, from Beers of Europe (website). No head, no carbonation (not sure if this means it was bad bottle?). Mulled, grapey aroma. Some sourness blended into the initial winey, cherry hit. Gingery, spicy, malty aftertaste, which lingers nicely. Mouthfeel is a little thin, but flavour is complex. I feel that this may have deserved more points than I have ended up dishing out, but I reserve the right to re-rate, as this appeared to be a quality product, let down only by the lack of fizz. swoopjones (1919), Buffalo, New York, USA
