Cherries (of course) in the aroma, but not too strong, but with a very good lambic-like sourness. A beautifully sour palate, though maybe a little bit sugary int he finish. The cherry isn;t too strong again, with a tannin-like feeling left in the mouth. Didn’t quite live up to the look and the smell, but still very nice. RAYBOY01 (1864), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Beautiful scarlet pour with an abundance of beading. There’s a Christmas party going on in my glass. bright and lively spritziness on the tongue and throat going down...champagne-style. Very well done! DrnkMcDermott (1861), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 2, 2005 Bottled: Sourly aroma, medium strong cherry note. Brillant red color.
Flavor is light sourly with remarkable cherry flavor, that isn’t dominant. End is astringent with light notes of bitter almonds. Nice, but a hint to sweet. JCB (1786), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 8, 2009 Bottle from Once Upon a Vine, Richmond. Dullish brown pour with minimal crisp carbonation. Faint oak in the nose and dark cherry tartness, nothing too sharp. Oxidized and off-putting dry, vegetal finish. Some mild cherry and brune-ish flavors remain, but it’s gone medicinal. sunevdj (1785), Copenhagen OE, Denmark
